Peter Janicki invented a machine that can create clean water, some electricity, and a little bit of ash, from human waste in minutes. The Omniprocessor is a new project, funded by the Gates Foundation, aimed at helping the 783 million people who don’t have access to clean water and the 2.5 billion who lack access to proper sanitation.
